My week wasn't that yellow either. Hope you all got the
quote. I'm an old man out here, but I still got it.
This week has been awesome! A mini repeat of last week. Just
less days. But we just found cool new investigators, had cool lessons, and
things just worked out. For example. One of the cool investigators we found
last week just lives a few streets away. So we went to visit. She wasn't home.
Her husband was out front showering (a common occurrence here). He invited us
right in, told us we'd just have to wait about 5 minutes for him to finish up.
He has wonderful faith and we had a great lesson. He wants us to keep coming
back. He came to church yesterday and stayed for the whole time. Wonderful
family and we have high hopes for them!
We went and visited a lady that the elders used to teach.
She dropped them about a year ago. Ready for baptism except for one thing.
Needs to get married. We went over last night to talk to her. At the first, she
wasn't very excited. But by the end, she agreed to get the papers taken care of
for marriage and to allow us to teach her again. That is a temple sealing just
waiting to happen.
We had some of our crazy difficult less actives come to
church for the second week in a row.
We have another couple that has not been married agree to
get working on papers this week.
It's just been a lot of exciting things. We are being
extremely blessed right now and seeing the hand of the Lord in our work.
But that's all really. And I'm out of time! But before
I go, pics!
Pics. The first is me at the neighbors house. The man is an
incredible painter. Someone gave him a pamphlet and he liked it so much that he
painted it on his front gate! Did a pretty good job too! The next is from when
we went bowling today and one of the sisters got a turkey. Not even my own
bowling I'm showing off, but it was just cool that someone got a turkey on the
final frame! Then just me and the bowling crew. Eh, sorry. Not many pics this
week. But, we didn't have much play time. Sorry, more next week!
That's all! Have a wonderful week over yonder! Take care!
Much love,
Elder Christensen
